Living pixels fresh. Over the years i have developed my own creative style, i like to push the boundries, intoxicating and in your face, my work has been described as raw, rather walking down my own road, not following others, and create images that get people talking. My work has been published in vogue (australia & italy), cleo (australia), swimsuit illustrated, cosmopolitan (australia & czech), and many other publications. I started living pixels in 1995, for me its about creating images that tell a story, living pixels is not simply about taking photographs, make your mind think about what is the image really saying. The whole process is totally addictive to me. My mind is always thinking of the next project. I spent about a year working as an assistant before stepping out on my own. I love the whole process of taking photographs, other creative talents, stylists, working with designers, the planing, from when an idea first comes into my head, to the final post editing stage. I ended up working as an assistant to a studio photographer , and was introduced to the world of fashion photography. When i returned to australia six months later i purchased my first camera, i learnt to photograph using traditional film cameras, learning how to read light and discover how light reacts to film. I was totally blown away, and new from that point onwards that that was what i wanted to do for a living. Raw peter starr was introduced to the insane world of photography while travelling through europe in 1985,i saw a photographer taking photographs of a model outside a restaurant in paris. Creative.
